Introduction - Initial 30 minute meeting (either via phone or in-person) with dietitian where you will learn how to complete a food diary as well as to have the opportunity to ask questions about the assessment process. Diary - You will complete a three-day food diary that will allow the dietitian to obtain a clear picture of your current diet. Meal planning - The dietitian will review your food diary. With the aid of a computer-based diary analysis program, a detailed dietary plan will be developed that is specific to your goals and nutritional needs. Implementation - You and the dietitian will meet for a 1 hour session where your dietary plan will be outlined and strategies for implementation will be discussed. You will receive a copy of the computer analysis of your diet as well as any relevant educational materials. Follow-up - A 30 minute follow-up meeting will be arranged to determine your progress and to help you with any concerns you may have.
