and helping individuals set and reach their health and fitness goals. We

Research has shown that low levels of activity and poor fitness are associated
with coronary artery disease and higher death rates. The benefits of physical
activity include increased resistance to disease, and provides an individual
the strength and energy needed to perform daily activities without feeling
"run down".
A high level of fitness enables a person to enjoy leisure time activities
even after a full day of work! Exercise can decrease levels of stress,
reduce body fat, enhance work performance, lower the risk of osteoporosis
& heart disease and enhance feelings of well being!

George Mochizuki holds a BPHE
degree from Laurentian University and a M.Sc. degree in Exercise Science
from Syracuse University. He is also an American Council on Exercise (ACE)
Certified Personal Trainer. George's Masters Thesis project focussed on trapezius
(neck) muscle function in people with and without occupational neck and
shoulder pain. In keeping with his studies in work-related musculoskeletal
issues, George's main training philosophy focuses on the importance of fitness
in the workplace, in both the office and production setting.
Research has shown that increased employee fitness improves productivity,
lowers sick days, cuts health care costs to the company, relieves work-related
stress, increases workplace morale, energy levels, and better prepares an
individual to withstand the rigors of the regular working day. George focuses
on developing the individual so he or she can work harder and longer throughout
the day and still have energy left to enjoy the leisure activities in life.
Craig Gardner is a registered massage therapist having graduated
from Sutherland-Chan Massage School in 1989. His practice has included: clinical
massage in an acute care chiropractic setting, sports massage at various health
and fitness clubs, in home pregnancy massage, and massage for stage and film
professionals on set.
Craig is also a professional actor having performed across
Canada for over 30 years in film and on stage. "Massage as part of a fitness
regimen can allow people to actually improve performance in whatever field
they perform in. I find that most people, myself included, cannot or
will not acknowledge how much they allow stress to dominate daily life.
A massage every four to six weeks will definitively reduce scarring from
ligament sprains or muscle strains accrued through exercise or physical labour
(ie. golf, gardening, weight training.) Massage enhances competitive performance
allowing people to attain far more satisfying results from all the hard work
of staying or getting into top physical condition. All this being said, I
also believe massage allows people an outlet for dealing with emotional overloads
that can throw them off their fitness regimens, proper rest and nutrition. I try to remember that, though I have given thousands of
massages in my fourteen years of practice, each one is unique to each client
and they are always in charge. I am there to give them what they want
and need that particular time given their state of mind and body that day
or evening. I am always thrilled when people tell me that the massage was
one of the best that they have ever had. In listening to your specific requests
and desires for the massage, I hope that I can achieve this for you as well.
